Gate Wheel Keeps Coming Off? Here’s How We Fix It (The Right Way!)
Last week, a customer from Alam Impian reached out to us. She said she already changed her autogate wheel a few times — first the right side, then later the left. Both times it was done by her gate contractor, and they just told her,
“This kind of thing is normal… need to change often lah.” Luckily, she mentioned it to her uncle, who had a better idea. He’s been using stainless steel gate rollers for over 3 years now — no more issues! He gave her our number and said,
“Just call the autogate shop I use — they know how to do it properly.”
So that’s exactly what we did. We helped her replace the wheels with 304 stainless steel rollers, and not just simply plug-and-play — we also changed the roller bearing inside the gate, realigned the motor, and adjusted the gate level. Most contractors don’t touch the bearing at all — they just swap the wheels and call it done. But if the inside bearing is worn, changing only the wheel won’t solve the problem.
While we were there, she also asked us to replace her DNOR autogate battery — because during a blackout, the gate couldn’t open. Easy fix!
Before leaving, we showed her how to spray WD40 on moving parts like the wheels, bearings, and hinges. Just once every week or two will help things last way longer. We always share this tip with our customers — a little maintenance goes a long way!
Need to Change Your Autogate Wheel? Make Sure It’s Done Right!
If your folding gate roller keeps coming off track or gets stuck, don’t worry — we handle this type of job almost every day in the Klang Valley.
We don’t use cheap materials — only high-quality 304 stainless steel autogate rollers. These are built to last, and we do it properly, not just for the sake of getting it done fast.
No, there’s no warranty for rollers (they’re wear-and-tear items), but we won’t leave until you’ve tested your gate open/close several times and are fully satisfied. That’s our way of making sure you’re happy with the result.
