We have the Dnor Turbo 880, DCMoto GFM925AL and DCMoto GFM925W models of pillar-mounted autogate systems available for installation. Many part-time installers are promoting the pillar-mounted models; however, they often do not provide satisfactory after-sales services. Concrete Pillar For Autogate

Important note: To provide sufficient strength and support for the swing autogate, it is advisable to use a pillar made of full concrete. The concrete pillar should be properly designed, constructed, and reinforced to accommodate the specific requirements of the swing gate system. By using a concrete pillar as the mounting point for the swing gate, you can ensure a secure and reliable installation that will withstand the test of time, providing a sturdy foundation for the gate’s operation.

It is not recommended to use bricks on the outer layer of the pillar and concrete in the middle when constructing a pillar for a swing gate. Bricks are not as strong and durable as concrete, especially when it comes to bearing the weight and forces exerted by the swing autogate. Using reinforced concrete for the entire pillar ensures that it can adequately bear the weight of the swing gate and withstand the various forces it encounters during operation.

We understand that some renovation contractors may suggest using bricks for the construction of the pillar due to their familiarity with that method. While using bricks may be a simpler and faster construction method, it may not provide the necessary structural integrity required to support the weight and forces of the swing gate over time
