We were contacted by a customer from a factory in Rawang, which is a neighboring factory where we installed a Beninca Yak 20 Sliding Autogate about 3 years ago. The new customer is using the model SLDEA1503S Gulliver Industrial Sliding Autogate and has been facing issues with the gate not functioning properly.
A Rawang autogate repairer came and inspected the DEA sliding autogate. They found that the pinion gear was damaged and worn out, causing the gate to malfunction. They charged RM 900 to replace the pinion gear and asked for payment upfront before sourcing the spare part.
After almost 5 days, they returned to replace the pinion gear, but the problem still wasn’t fixed. The gate couldn’t open and close properly, frustrating the customer. At first, they blamed the damaged part, but later said the sliding autogate track was misaligned and needed to be replaced for the gate to work properly. Unfortunately, they couldn’t replace the track because they didn’t have the necessary skills or manpower.
