Emergency Auto gate Repair For Customer In Cheras
A customer in Cheras called me recently about a problem. He told me that his brother’s house had an auto gate, and it fell down due to the strong wind and rain last night. They managed to fix the gate and put it back in place. However, they noticed that the gate wasn’t aligned correctly, and it couldn’t close properly. On top of that, there was a really loud squaking sound that was coming from the bearings.
Understanding the urgency of the situation, they requested our team to help fix his auto gate and auto gate bearings. When we arrived at the location, we could see the situation clearly. The gate falling down from the weather was a clear issue. After examining it closely, it was evident that the gate’s misalignment was causing the problem with closing. The added complication of the noisy bearings made the situation even more challenging. We got to work on realigning the gate and addressing the noisy bearings.
Step By Step Autogate Repair
Let me elaborate on the steps we took in detail:
Step 1: We started by carefully removing the autogate swing arms from the gate.
Step 2: Next, we took off the left gate leaf from the autogate bearing and placed it securely on the floor.
Step 3: Similarly, we removed the right gate leaf from the autogate bearing and placed it beside the left leaf on the floor.
Step 4: To proceed, we used a grinder to precisely cut away the old bearings from the hinges.
Step 5: After taking out the old bearings, we put in our top-notch autogate bearing. Our bearing might look like the ones you see around, but it’s better. Ours is really good quality, and it’s made in Malaysia. This means it will work well and last a long time.
Step 6: Here, we’ve got the gate back up and working like before. But there’s more to do. We need to change the bracket of the auto gate swing arm. It got twisted when the gate fell down.
Step 7: Now, we’re putting the auto gate arm swing back in place and making sure to tighten the screws on the clevis securely.
These organized steps helped us carefully fix the problem, making sure we looked at each part and solved it properly. Once I was done, the auto gate was back to working as it should be, and the customer was relieved to see everything back in order.
