A Frustrated Lady Called To Seek Help
Yesterday, a lady from USJ 6 called us for help. She asked about our auto gate system in 2022 but didn’t choose our company. Instead, she got someone else to install ita Dnor 212 autogate system. But soon after the installation, problems started happening every month, even before the warranty ended. Actually we receive calls every day from customers who are frustrated with their autogate systems. It seems like a common problem that causes a lot of annoyance and inconvenience.
Her Dnor 212 autogate is just about 1.5 year old. Unfortunately, her auto gate experienced various problems, including issues with the wiring, and even got struck by lightning. It seems like she faced many challenges with the auto gate system.
The Autogate Installer Can’t Be Contacted Anymore
In February 2023, her auto gate was not working and she tried to get in touch with the auto gate freelancer who installed her autogate system, but the auto gate guy cannot be contacted anymore. Afterward, she seek help by posting a request for help in her taman’s WhatsApp group. One of the members in the group provided her with a contact for autogate repair.
This Marked The Beginning Of A Nightmare For Her
After checking the auto gate repairer informed her that she would need to replace the auto gate control panel and the auto gate battery. They explained that without the battery, the voltage would be too high, posing a risk of damaging the autogate control panel. This added to her growing concerns and the challenges she was facing with her autogate system. Since she had no other options, she had to pay RM 750 for the new control panel, RM 380 for the autogate battery, and RM 210 for three replacement batteries for the autogate remotes. These expenses were an additional source of frustration and financial strain for her.
3 months later, she had problems with her dnor 212 swing arm auto gate again. This time, the auto gate repairer informed her that the wires used were not armoured cables but rather regular 1.5mm wires. To rectify the issue, she was quoted RM650 for the auto gate rewiring work.
Autogate Nightmare: Dnor 212 Breaks Down Repeatedly
The dnor 212 auto gate arm had been functioning properly until last week when issues happened. She then called the same repairer guy. He came and dismantled the right side arm’s mini dc motor without informing her. The autogate repairer recommended replacing the entire autogate system, but the owner declined the suggestion since she had already replaced it in January 2022. He then quoted RM 550 for the mini dc motor via whatsapp message. It was very expensive and it surprised her. Because of this, she no longer trusted the repairer.
The autogate repairer informed her that they would need to travel from Kajang to USJ, dismantle the arm, and send it to the DNOR factory. Afterward, they would need to pick up the repaired arm from the factory and reinstall it for her. This process would involve a total of six trips. The repairer would have to cover the costs of petrol and tolls for each trip.
