SLDEA800 DEA Livi Sliding Autogate Repair Service for Homes in Klang
Hello everyone. Our autogate repair service was recently required in Klang for a DEA Livi SLDEA800 residential sliding autogate. The issue reported was that the motor made a sound, but the gate did not move. According to the customer, they had just completed a home renovation, including installing a new sliding gate and new wiring. The existing DEA sliding autogate motor was reused. However, after a few days of use, the autogate started malfunctioning.
The customer contacted the installer who reinstalled the motor, but was informed that DEA spare parts were not available and was advised to replace the entire autogate system with a new one. Our team arrived on-site and within less than 5 minutes, we identified the issue. The problem was caused by a faulty sliding autogate motor capacitor, a common issue that we were already expecting based on experience. Using our ready stock of DEA autogate spare parts, we replaced the damaged capacitor with a 14µF sliding autogate capacitor.
Another issue reported was that the remote control only worked when very close to the gate. This was due to a faulty remote receiver. With the customer’s agreement, we replaced the DEA remote set, including 1 receiver and 3 new remote controls.
After repairs, the DEA AC sliding autogate operated smoothly and normally again. All issues were fully resolved in under one hour.
