E0028-Lamp Control Relay (12V) has an important role in controlling the pillar lights of the DCMOTO GFM925. It can be connected to pillar lights to provide illumination for entrance. When the autogate is activated, the relay automatically turns on these lights, ensuring visibility and safety during entry & exit.
Based on our experience, we do not recommend connecting pillar lights directly to your autogates. Instead, if your house is undergoing renovation or if you’re planning to install pillar lights, we suggest connecting them to a timer. A timer allows you to set specific times for the lights to turn on and off, providing better control over the designated lighting periods.
We have noticed that many autogates have been damaged because of problems with the wiring connected to pillars. This happens when the wiring is not installed correctly or protected properly, which can harm the autogate system.
To prevent such issues, it is important to have the wiring for the pillar lights installed by a qualified electrician who knows how to handle outdoor lighting installations. They will make sure that the wiring is installed safely and securely, reducing the chances of damage to the autogate system.
